GN Pan questions

Which GN sizes do you produce?

The full gastronorm series: GN 2/1 (650 x 530 mm), GN 1/1 (530 x 325 mm), GN 1/2 (325 x 265 mm), GN 2/3 (354 x 325 mm), GN 2/4 (530 x 162 mm), GN 1/3 (325 x 176 mm), GN 1/4 (265 x 162 mm), GN 1/6 (176 x 162 mm), GN 1/9 (176 x 108 mm), in depths from 20 mm to 200 mm. PC GN pans are listed from GN 1/1 to GN 1/9.

What is the difference between European, American and Anti-jam GN pans?

European style follows the EN 631 gastronorm profile used by most hotel buffet and combi-oven equipment. American style matches US steam-table (hotel pan) wells. Anti-jam pans add a corner stop so stacked pans do not lock together. GN 2/1 and GN 2/4 are made in Anti-jam or American style only.

Which stainless steel grade should I choose?

Options are 201 / 304 / 316 stainless steel; 304 available for 18/8 specification discussion; PC (polycarbonate) for PC GN pans. 201 suits price-driven buffet service; 304 is the usual food-contact grade for hotel and catering use; 316 is quoted for corrosive or marine environments.

Which sheet thickness is standard?

GN pans are offered in 0.4 / 0.55 / 0.65 / 0.8 mm; other thicknesses by project. GN 2/1 pans are 0.8 mm or custom. Thicker gauges resist denting in high-volume kitchens; thinner gauges reduce cost and freight weight.

Do you supply lids and perforated pans?

Yes. Perforated pans and stainless steel GN pan lids are available for all GN sizes, and PC GN pans have their own lid series.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no MOQ for regular stock or regular production items. A custom logo (laser marking or stamping) starts at 2,000 pcs and custom printed packaging at 10,000 pcs; custom sizes are quoted per project.

What are the payment and trade terms?

Quotations are EXW / FOB / CIF from Shantou, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Payment is T/T with a 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment; letters of credit are not accepted. Buyer-appointed forwarders are accepted.

How long is the lead time?

Most regular items are held in stock, so lead time mainly depends on quantity; peak season does not change this. Custom logo, packaging or size orders are scheduled after artwork or sample approval.

Can I get a sample first?

Yes. Samples are available; the buyer pays sample freight and lead time is confirmed per specification. Share the product reference and required specification by email or WhatsApp and the sales team will confirm availability.
